Youth House Renovations

"Who said we couldn't get that couch out of there? It ain't nuttin that a power saw and a couple strong young men can't take care of!" The night started with these words ringing in my ear.

Even though there were some school clothes ruined by paint and a lot of dirt and grime stuck to our bodies, the night went great! IGNITE small group and some adult members of the church put their minds together and intermingled it with their muscles to give the youth house a much needed overhaul.

We were able to paint the front room, clean out the kitchen and bathroom, rip out a closet, and clean... clean... clean! I want to personally thank everyone that worked so hard. There were no complaints and everyone really worked hard to get a week's worth of work done in about 2 hours.

We even had a blast from the past, Mr. Roehler, who came to lend us a hand. It was good to have him back and we hope to see him and Casey at future events. I want to continue to encourage everyone to keep reaching out - we're building today what tomorrow will use so let's continue to let our lights shine!

Good Job One and All !!! Cleanliness is next to Godliness--seems I was told that a time or two when I was growing up--not sure how true it rings, but good motivation anyway. Keep up the good work. Especially like Jared's job of caring for the kitten !!
